Recap:
8/12 - Olivia Powell was the speaker at our meeting.  She talked about her year in Chile as a Rotary Exchange Student. Great Job Olivia!
8/19 The Dist. Gov’er visits and speaks to club after meeting with the Club Board at 5:45.
9/2 The Rotary-Lion Picnic at Boname Park. We had a great turn-out and lots of good food and followship.
9/9 Pony League Representative Matthew Moore thanks club for support and shares this seasons success.

10/14 - New Meeting Place - We gather together at our new meeting site - St. Joseph’s Church Hall

Meeting Notes for 10/14:

• Clyde Cole  Ads need to get done and get more business to include their ads in our program booklet. 
  
• Dave Utter will be working again this year with Anna Loomis on the computer program.
  
• We don’t have any students appling to be an exchange student this year and the club decided not to host next year. Maria and Kathy will be working on promoting the Exchange program.

Meeting Notes for 10/22:

1. John Peterson - Program Speaker: John did very well and he and Jeanne brought us crepes to eat. Very enjoyable program.
   
2. Dr. Fallon a Radiation Oncologist servicing Lourdes Hospital as well as his free standing practice in Cortland, NY. Has requested to come and do a lecture for us. Some topics are:
   • History of Radiation and Medicine
   • Current Health Topics
   • Policy Debate
   • Cancer related Topics
   The club decided we would like him to Current Health Topics or Cancer related Topics. Tentative program dates are 11/11/10 or 11/18/10.
   
3. Rotary/Lions Dinner: Suggestion was made to wait until after the end of the year and have a Service Organizations Dinner. Steve Behe has volunteered to Organize it for the Lions Club. They are contacting the Legion and the Fire Dept. We will hear more about this later.
   

Dates To Remember
11/9 Foundation Dinner at the McKinley in Endicott.  The cost is $40. Please let Sandy know by 10/21 if you wish to go.  The speaker will be Kalyan Bannergee who will be the RI President in 2011 - 2012.
